In the Seinfeld video I believe I saw 3 different stereotypes. 1: Jerry and Kramer made stereotypical comments about Native Americans during the scenes with the Cigar Shop statue. 2: Jerry made a stereotypical comment about “chubby” weathermen looking alike (and other heavy set men in general) when he was looking at Wynona’s TV Guide. 3: Jerry also unintentionally created a situation where the mailman misconstrued his question regarding the location of a local Chinese restaurant as stereotypical due to the fact that the mailman was of Asian heritage. I suppose, if one wanted to delve deeper into that particular situation, one could say that Jerry’s belief that if you’re a mailman, then you will know where everything is in the neighbor hood is also a stereotype.
